Music
The music ministry of Calvary Bible Church is a ministry of worship and praise. This is our primary focus. Psalm 96 says, “O sing unto the Lord, all the earth: Sing unto the Lord, bless His name. For the Lord is great, and greatly to be praised.”
In addition to weekly ministry in worship services, our music ministry is involved with seasonal events that are presented throughout the year.
Opportunities for involvement range from 1st grade through adult. Choirs for all ages, ensembles, and instrument groups are just a few of the ways you can be involved. Calvary Ambassadors
This ministry for folks 55 and older is up and running! Join us for various activities held throughout the year. From bus trips to Sight and Sound theater in Lancaster, PA to picnics in the summer, we would love to have you.
Precept Bible Study
Precept is an inductive Bible study method that helps people understand scripture more deeply in order to develop life-changing intimacy with God.
There are five different levels of Precept Bible study. The model used here is Precept upon Precept, and involves approximately five hours a week of personal Bible study guided in a workbook with questions and cross references. Once a week we gather as a class to discuss what we have learned from our studies the week before. These classes are held in the morning and evening on Tuesdays and last about one hour and 20 minutes.
Small Groups
Small Groups bring people together to share in “one another care,” which will result in building godly relationships and practicing biblical love. To join or learn more about small groups, contact the church office.

Adult Language Ministry
Adult English Classes are held in a classroom setting, offering conversation, grammar, reading, and writing at four different ability levels. Also available are programs for children and youth, and care for infants. Please call Patricia at 717-624-3797 or 815-505-9569 to register.

Co-Ed Softball
The Calvary Bible Softball Ministry’s main objective is to honor Christ while competing in the sport. Anyone from age 13 on up can participate. This is open to all church members, so is considered a co-ed sport. We focus on playing as a team, growing closer whether winning or losing the game. We are here to help encourage and strengthen one another both physically and spiritually.
